While on holiday, you will probably want to make the most of every minute, trying to condense as much as you can in as little time as possible – the 2D1N Mount Kinabalu Package offering a 2 days – 1 night trip has been created especially for the visitors who enjoy climbing and would like grasp the true beauty of the marvelous Kinabalu landscape.
With this Mount Kinabalu climbing package, hikers can choose between two climbing paths: the easier Timpohon Gate path, which is around 6.5 km long, taking you to more inhabited places, or the steeper, more challenging Mesilau Gate path, 8.5 km in length, recommended for more experienced climbers. Most of the climb will be done on the first day of the trip. After a night spent in one of the facilities in the area, the second day will comprise the final ascent to the peak and the descent.
The 2 days and 1 night package will introduce the visitor to truly amazing scenery, so deservedly named a World Heritage Site. Both the ascent and the descent paths are winding through a region with the most exotic species of plants and animals surrounding the climber. Prices stated are in Malaysian Ringgit, approx 3 to 1 US dollar. Due to restrictions imposed by the authorities in 2012, we are unable to reserve 2D1N packages until the month before your trip, for reservations before this please see the other packages. Also, I was told from the local on my 1st visit to Kota Kinabalu last time that your side do provide a porter to help carry our bags during the climb too. If that true, how much do you charge?
